Abstract

Tafsir-e-Majidi is the Quranic exegesis authored by Maulana Abdul Majid Daryabadi (RA), which reflects extensive benefit derived from classical commentators of the Quran. Alongside this, it also draws significant insights from the thoughts of the great Sufi and jurist of his time, Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (RA). This includes his jurisprudential statements, which are scattered throughout the exegesis.

This article presents a research-based study of these statements and is divided into three sections:

Worship (Ibadat)
Marriage (Nikah)
Miscellaneous Jurisprudential Statements
