الملخص
People are always worried about earning a living but the religion of Islam has laid the foundation of a family system in which it is the responsibility of the man to provide financial support for his family. The religion of Islam also has the distinction that it freed women from economic struggle but if the economic conditions of the husband are weak, then the woman can adopt any means of livelihood by staying within the limits of Sharia. The life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ is an example for us, by following which we can reach the destination of Paradise. Islamic history is a witness that the Muslim women of the early centuries, especially the Companions, took full part in other matters and occupations apart from household affairs for example, economy and trade, preaching and jihad, teaching, farming and handicrafts, etc and the Prophet ﷺ never stopped them from doing this. In this article, women's economic and commercial activities and employment rules and regulations will discussed in the Islamic context.
